This book is a valuable resource. IT is arranged well and is easy to look at and to read. You can find the information you need easily and construct charts with this book alone. The author begins with a well-researched explanation of both the history of astrology, and the explicit differences between western astrology and jyotish. This information is a must-read for first-timers. Because the author is American, she is able to make jyotish logical and understandable to Americans. A very good book to put to practical use.
