These essays will give you a great foundation in both magickal theory and practice. The final essay "The Art of True Healing" has been published as a separate book in itself and gives a complete explanation of his middle pillar ritual as well as practical uses for it. The Qabala articles are great as a quick jump start into theory. If you want to buy one Regardie book, this is it.

Very good book. . . it is becoming increasingly difficult to find for a reasonable price. This book contains a collection of 5 essays by Israel Regardie, including:

1. The Art and Meaning of Magic

2. A Qabalistic Primer

3. Meditation

4. The Qabalah of Number and Meaning

5. The Art of True Healing

In all this book is 160 pages.
