This is must reading for Christians today. We have allowed our American culture to alter our view of God. Many today entertain poor images of His character and attributes in part because they fail to practice "thinking rightly" about Him. This book aids in developing a "fear of the Lord" in the heart of the reader. It is the fear of the Lord that Christians need today for becoming Christ followers of high character. This book is a great help in cultivating right thoughts about God in the mind and heart of believers.

A.W. Tozer Should be read by every Christian. His insights are some of the best I've ever come across. The Pursuit of God is the first book of Tozer's That I came across and I read it three times in a month before buying Knowledge of the Holy. Most of his books are short, and I spend fifteen minutes reading a chapter in the morning and the rest of the day contemplating what I read in that short time.

I honestly think this is one of the most wonderful, deep, profound books on the nature of God that's ever been written. Tozer wrote, and spoke, so much awesome truth about the attributes of God - but this is his most succinct, intense, short, boiled down version of all that wonderful revelation. I strongly recommend it.
