5 out of 5 stars You will not be the same person after reading this   September 15, 1999

If you don't go crazy after reading J.D.'s ideas, you will at least be forced to admit that your views of every single thing in this world are not the same as before. Brilliant thinking, by any standard. Yet I would warn against taking everything for granted without deep inner reflexion (and relativisation) as J.D. himself is continuously asking us to do: should you interpret too closely his words, you could see yourself becoming a sort of ghost, a transparent immaterial being, quite an odd feeling indeed!

5 out of 5 stars Simply awesome!   July 12, 1999

I happened to come across this book by chance. As I had heard about Krishnamurthy before, I thought I should read a bit and see what his teachings were all about. The first 15 pages were enough to convince me to buy this. I was struck by the orginality of his thought and how he puts everything in perspective. I have tried reading other self-help (or improvement) books before, but none of them were of any use in real life. This book, has simply transformed my being without any conscious effort on my part. You have at read it to believe it. This is no self-help cook book you should know. This is my first reading of JK's book, I plan to check out his other works!

5 out of 5 stars Re: Free from the unconditioned experience   April 3, 1999

This book gives an excellent explanation for how things work, we are taken into believe alot of what is not true, but Krishnamurti's thought is exceptional and the one who want to seek the Truth or God must come to one with their own unconsiousness!

5 out of 5 stars The best krishnamurti book ever   November 22, 1997

I think this book is one of his best. It covers all the areas of the human condition and the essence of his teaching. After reading the book however, throw it away or give it to someone and dont let it become a crutch in your life...he would have wanted it that way.
