Outstanding AuthorDecember 15, 2008 Two authors in particular challenge my intelligence: Maximillien de Lafayette, and David Icke. Both are in a very special and rare league of authors and visionary thinkers. Mr. Icke is unique. Mr. Icke is a prophet of the "other side". Mr. Icke is an explosion and implosion of un-chartered knowledge. Mr. Icke sees the world differently...for he has already transcended the physical frontiers of ordinary thinking. Each phrase written by Mr. Icke is a revelation. This is evident in all his work. It is explosive and most informative. Read his books with enthusiasm, but try to read between the lines, for there are so many hidden messages only a bright mind can decipher. Just imagine a world of mysteries and sacred-banned knowledge without David Icke and Maximillien de Lafayette. Could you realize the emptiness and depth, the one million flashes of truth and threatening realities would create the absence of these two super authors!
The David Icke Guide to the Global ConspiracyNovember 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
"Fact can be stranger than fiction" and this is certainly the case here as David exposes the long held hidden agenda of deceit and manipulation in fine detail. The "official" cover story of so called `terrorism' is but just one aspect that does not standup to his questioning and clearly shows that the public are being conned on a scale previously thought unconceivable. The cat is out of the bag in a big way and those involved will be rightfully trembling in their boots. For the rest of us, it is the beginning of being able to "connect the dots" and get the overall picture. Good on you David, you have uncovered the story of the ages!
magnificentNovember 18, 2008 Yes, magnificent - both the book and the man: he has shouldered on for decades despite much opposition and has repeatedly put his head above the parapet. Yes, this is basically an updated version of his earlier books but I found that I had forgotten a lot of it and welcomed this review: each book is better put together than the previous one and this is the best, so far, providing the most perspective.
Yes, there is a split - you are either a conspiracy theorist or a coincidence theorist. Yes, either/both is/are crazy, so take your pick as there is no real evidence for either side. But controversy about coincidence vs conspiracy is as stupid as the controversy about creationism vs darwinism - there's no real proof for either side so the arguments - on either side - are basically down to closeminded people who like to argue. Same as the arguments for and against Icke....
HOWEVER, the information presented by David Icke does make sense of why so many bad things happen and continue to happen. How could you otherwise explain why education and medicine (to name just two subjects that affect every single one of us) are in the terrible state they are in? How CAN you explain why there are still so many wars and so much torture and nastiness even though the silent majority do NOT want any of this? So much, SO much, only makes sense if you accept at least some of the information provided by Icke.
Yes, I half-believe everything I read - and boy do I read a lot! To reject any of it is simply stupidity. To swallow it whole is also stupid. We are simply not going to know the Truth in this reality - and, yes, as Einstein apparently said "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it."
If you find it exciting to be shown different ways to view the world, this book is for you.
wowNovember 2, 2008 Even if half of the things about what some politicians have supposedly done that means we are in a contentious time people..the next year I feel is going to be very rough.
Fascinating but the Jury is Still OutOctober 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Is David Icke a brilliant and enlightened soul come to alert the world to the big lie or merely a very cunning "professional conspiratist"? One can admire the depth of his research, the interesting and varied content and the confidence he portrays but that could also be said of a sociopath with a savant's gift for collating various conspiracy theories and synthesizing them into his own idiosynchratic amalgam. Before making up my mind one way or t'other I shall do some of my own reseach into Icke, including listening in to his upcoming broadcast on the 23rd. Then, I may have a clearer picture of the real person behind the legend. For now, the benefit of the doubt with a generous 4 stars.
