5 out of 5 stars ***** One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for ET *****   March 2, 2007

... A valuable general reader for those that have not either had a "contact" experience -- yet -- or been a researcher in UFOlogy for any length of time. Indeed I recall my early years of working in this field circa 1980's and being dumbfounded by all the contradictory, paradoxical aspects of the alien abduction as well as near-death experiences that I specialize in myself. However, I have had close encounters of a mystical kind that closely parallel these communications from ET, so I am hardly in a position to scoff. I likewsie remember the wise counsel given by John E. Mack, MD, after he reviewed my own book's manuscript and confirmed its message as valid. More so, my adult daughters, Kim and Shelli, had a life-altering vision of Earth Changes while camping in the Olympic National Forest, Washington, that I document in my book and blog today, and, in short, as I read Jim Sparks' theme, the "planet is dying," I recall that was what my kids learned, too. Equally, they were shown by ETs, or multi-dimensional earthlings, our future after what I strongly believe is a pole shift in 2012 A.D. Yet beyond the trauma-to-come "as the world turns" into more galactic and solar light, I am optimistic that we shall overcome the obstacles and it will be revelations like this one that will help condition us to the larger truth that we are not alone -- and never have been ....

2 out of 5 stars I Was Disapointed in this Book.   February 19, 2007

I am astounded by the highly positive reviews of this book. The best reviews came from people who believe they have shared the abduction experience and are anxious to praise a product that confirms their own experiences, as they believe them to be. This book is poorly written. There are major logical flaws in the narrative (for instance, how many houses sit so flat upon the ground that a footprint (just one single footprint) could possibly be visible both on the carpet and the flowerbed? What about the width of the walls, for Heaven's sake? What about foundations and sills and 2 X 4's?) I am a marriage and family therapist and I found nothing believable about Mr. Spark's descriptions of his interactions with his wife. Her character had all the depth of character of a Stepford Wife. I really believe that part must have been added to give the story a little extra drama; it was badly done. I will not be purchasing the sequel that he promises to his readers in the last part of the book. And, I'm sorry; I wanted to like this book.

I could hardly put this book down. I don't think many people could have
endured the experiences that Jim Sparks has had. The book really explains alien abductions.

4 out of 5 stars A Very Personal Account   February 9, 2007

In my opinion, this book is worth a look. I found it interesting and very detailed. If you enjoy personal stories about alien abductions, this one will keep your attention.

5 out of 5 stars The Bridge between abductees and contactees.   February 6, 2007

Jim Sparks amazing account provides a multitude of information about human Et interactions. His transformation from victim of alien abduction to contactee(defined here as an experiencer who emphasizes the postive aspects of human-ET interactions) opens the door to a more hopeful view of the current situation. His level of cooperation with non-human intelligent beings moved from learning their written language to assisting them in what he described as a mass abduction of terribly frightened and confused CE-IV experiencers.

A must read for anyone who has wondered about what life among the ETs might be like!
