The Field a hard, boring book to read...booooo November 17, 2007 9 out of 20 found this review helpful
I read Quantum Success and loved it. The Secret was short and didn't do anything for me. I wanted to read more about this law of attraction so I got The Field. It was too much for me, small print, hard to read, and wasn't what I was looking for on the subject.

This book is excellent because it produces the scientific evidence for the life force that easy to understand. Get ready to understand principles of quantum physics.
the dawn of a new science October 21, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The author has shown in a well documented work that whatever we knew about science does not hold true anymore and ushers in the science of the quantum physics, the Zero Point Field, the energy flow which binds the universe, the cosmos, and the human beings. The knowledge that our thoughts influence the entire human existence and the entire universe should make each one of us more thoughtful about our intentions and make us take a positive view in everything we do in order to make this world a more peaceful and harmonious place. I recommend this book to everyone who is interested in making this world a better place to live in.
A Doorway to the Fantastic for Lay-Persons October 20, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
If you are a scientist you may wish Lynne McTaggart went into more depth with her reporting, but the fact is that she is a reporter, not a scientist, and she wrote this fascinating look at cutting edge science so that a wide audience could follow and appreciate it. She did a very good job and offers clear references so anyone wishing to pursue more in depth information may do so.
Consider this book the doorway that will open a new world of interesting possibilities to you and if you wish to pursue more information, use her references. I highly recommend this book.
Terrible, rambling pseudo-science October 18, 2007 27 out of 32 found this review helpful
This book deals with some important and interesting subjects, but I really struggled with the writing style - everything is "amazing". Even more concerning was the seeming complete disregard for the scientific method (which is not the same as scientific dogma). Hypotheses are frequently presented as conclusions, and there is no time spent on arguing or presenting alternative theories. Very disappointing.
