Not as good as his first book, but pleasant to read. August 5, 2004 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I watch John Edward's show, and I believe in him. Still, I liked his first book better than this one. Why? The first book is a biography of John Edward, whereas, this book is more of a "biography of the show." If you're going to buy this book, be sure to buy (and read) "One Last Time" first. This is more of a supplement to that earlier text. I'm planning to buy "One Last Time" for my mother, for Christmas, but I don't think I'll buy "Crossing Over" to go with it, for mom. If she likes "One Last Time," she can get "Crossing Over" later. I recommend the same for you.
Another great book from Edward... March 28, 2004 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is another book by medium John Edward that entertains the reader and will confound the skeptics. Again, Edward relates many experiences that will leave the believer enlightened and the skeptic dumbfounded. This book is highly recommended. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because I was bored by the talk about the development of his TV show. Regardless, you will enjoy this book!

I think this book was very intresting...I didnt believe in psyhics till i read this book...The reason i didnt give the book 4 stars is because it jumped around a lot...I really liked how i could learn about johns life...It described what his home life was about and his life now with a wife...I would recomend anyone to read it...
Too Dry - I want a wider variety, different experiences February 4, 2004 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
John is a good writer, and communicates well on this side besides the other side! What I think is lacking is a broader scope of experiences. What other authors, like Tiffany Snow and Sylvia Browne are doing, is touching many aspects and challenging the reader to do the same, BESIDES telling the personal experiences. Too often, John just tells his own stories, which are entertaining, but limited. But, this book I like better than his other one, "after life," which is more of the same and even dryer than this one.
