The Children of Now February 17, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
The author presents incredible real-life stories that left me amazed, excited, and awestruck at the same time. Children of Now is a very special book wherein an educated experienced professional provides not just the stories but also insightful observations to help all of us understand the potential of these extraordinary children. Absolutely remarkable information presented by a gifted author. A great help for parents, the children themselves, and a terrific guide for anyone teaching or anyone who has anything to do with children.
Fascinating read, written with integrity. February 16, 2007 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
The author has done a great job in explaining the gifts these young ones are bringing to the world, the challenges they face and what they need from us to flourish. She has included the wisdom and insights written in the words of some of the children themselves. After reading it, you will no doubt come to the conclusion that these souls are here to teach us. I recommend it to anyone interested in the direction of our society and planet, whether you have children or not.
Heavy on spiritual"encounters", not enough detail on the actual children. February 14, 2007 17 out of 24 found this review helpful
While this book offers plenty of accounts of the author connecting with various kids at wall-mart(Nice, but how would the mother feel about a stranger talking, even telepathically, with her child?) It lumps all of the Crystalline children into one catagory, not going into detail about the difference of Indigo, Rainbow, Crystal etc. children. The only exception she makes is for star children, because she knows one personally. There are HUGE differences between these types of special children, as any one who has read any other books on the subject would know. She also says these children have only started coming at around 1997-98, while indigo children have been known to start arriving as early as 1978, and only the most recent crystal children occupy the time frame she covers. It is also said that all the children have some form on blue eyes.(???) I personally know of many indigos with diffrent ethnicities, not to mention eye color. While this book does offer good characteristics of these special children, she lumps them into only two categories: Crystalline and Star children, although she mentions detail. Dont waste your money on this vague book, but go for something with way more information and details, such as Doreen Virtue's "Earth Angels" "Crystal Children", and "The care and feeding of your Indigo Children."
The Children of Now January 17, 2007 9 out of 13 found this review helpful
I have been reading Dr. Meg's website for years now and find her perspective very enlightening. In "The Children of Now" Dr. Meg carries on where other authors left off with the Indigo generation. She introduces the Crystalline children,Star kids and Angels that have also arrived. She decribes their characteristics, age ranges, specific gifts and messages as well as shares her own personal experiences with these amazing gifts to humanity. The more scientific minded individual will enjoy her explaination of the DNA transformations taking place within us during our acension. A good blend of information and stories with additional websites, books and films that the reader can use to further explore their topics of interest.
Alert to all parents, grandparents, teachers, caretakers..... January 17, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a necessary read for everyone because it explains the characteristics and qualities of the children on our planet, currently. Dr. Meg tells us of her experiences with many of these remarkable children and explains how we can help them become accepted, instead of labeling them with limitations and trying to put them in some kind of box. We must all start living outside the box now and Dr. Meg explains why. We must be there to support these children and help them fulfill their destinies.
