Ghosts Among UsNovember 13, 2008 I found this book to be very informative on this subject. It really makes you want to believe.
An Entertaining Read for Those Curious About The Other Side.November 9, 2008 I picked up Van Praagh's book after seeing him at an event in Scottsdale, Arizona. I had heard so much about his insight into "the other side" that curiosity sent me straight to the bookstore to read this entertaining and insightful account that revealed some very interesting truths about the spiritual world. I loved the chapter called "How Ghosts Communicate" as I began to see the world we walk in every day in an entirely different light.
Even more appealing was his accounts of some Hollywood sets that amazed me, and made me even more curious about reading more on this interesting topic. I even tune into "The Ghost Whisperer" on Friday nights, where he is the co-executive producer, and I can now pinpoint some script ideas that I know came straight from his very insightful experiences of walking with "ghosts among us."

Ghosts Among UsNovember 1, 2008 Among the many books I have read on this subject John's interpretation is always one of my favorites. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for answers about the other side.
ComfortingOctober 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As someone who has lost a loved one within the past year, it was very comforting to read Ghosts Among Us. I have always had a strong belief in the afterlife and this book reinforced my beliefs. I take comfort in knowing that my loved ones have gone to a better place. James Van Praagh comes across to me as a compassionate and entirely sincere person. I recommended Ghost Among Us to all my family.
A Beautiful BookOctober 10, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you are ready to hear it, GHOSTS AMONG US is what the afterlife is truly like. I make this claim based on my own extensive research, experiences by family members who have seen their loved ones after death and in the manner described by Van Praagh. But he summarizes and presents the information in the best manner I've seen. And its not at all frightening. In fact it is much more hopeful than most religious dogma I've heard.
Covering everything from those who don't believe they are dead, to those who choose to return to earth (reincarnate), Van Praagh presents the most extensive view I've read so far, including a discussion on other dimensions. And you don't need a physics degree to understand.
Do not hesitate to purchase this book. Another in the same vein but from a vastly different perspective is Imbrogno's INTERDIMENSIONAL UNIVERSE.
