A must read for those who need answers about death. Van Praagh erases myths and the unsurety we all feel about our existence.
Many of my family members have read this book and have raved about it.
Good Read - Great Information January 6, 2009
Love from Both Sides: A True Story of Soul Survival and Sacred Sexuality I'm a writer, a working hypnotherapist, and I do Past Life Regressions, so I'm not unbiased. But even though the title of James Van Praagh's "Ghosts Among Us" conjures up old movie images of wafting, misty entitles, his book gives a different sense of the "other side." He makes it clear that the "other side" is right here; you can reach out and touch it. His writing is clear, direct, and most of all encouraging and comforting. He assures his readers that they have access to hearing from dead loved ones if they allow themselves to take the time, learn to listen and connect. I love James's work because he helps make the "unreal" more concrete. And most importantly, he helps to make the real communications from "ghosts" taken seriously, even though they are easier to simply ignore. I recommend this book highly.

Excellent book. Could not put down. Explains many strange things that happen in our lives.
 Comforting but not new December 9, 2008
In recent years, I have read and collected materials on the afterlife, death, reincarnation, etc., and, although this book is comforting, the material by this author is not new to me. If you haven't read books by this author, it's as good a place to start as any, but if you have read books by this author, I would not make this purchase.

This is about so much more than you think when you read the title. I have lost many people in my life in the past 2 years and it brought me great peace in reading his views on what happens when we die. It is the 1st book that I have read cover to cover in ages and plan to read again. Thanks for writing such an insightful book
