Amazing Gettysburg, told by an expert December 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Mr. Nesbitt has written many books on the subject of haunted Gettysburg, and he tells his incredible ghost tales vividly and with expert knowledge of the Gettysburg battlefields and town. I have visited many of the places in his book, and can tell you that you come away with an indescribable feeling for the people whose lives were lost or changed in this town 150 years ago. Mr. Nesbitt brings these stories to life in his books, they are the best on the subject that I have read.

I would love to read this book but Amazon shipped two of the wrong books to my home. Hopefully this book will be in one of the book shops in Gettysburg when I visit.
Great Series of books. February 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have all of Mark Nesbitt's books. Mark is a former Park Ranger and actually worked on the Gettysburg Battlefield for many years. Many of the stories in this book and his other books in the Ghosts of Gettysburg series, are actual events that Mr. Nesbitt experienced himself. I thoroughly enjoy Mr. Nesbitt's style of writing, he's able to keep the pages turning. I was unable to put the book down until I was finished. Mr. Nesbitt is a respectable author, businessman, and ghosthunter, in and around Gettysburg even today. I find his work very creditable and I'm awaiting his next book. When will that be Mark?

My Wife and I have been to Gettsyburg in 2005 and are plaining another trip this year I have read this book and have found it very interesting in fact I have order 3,4,& 5 I already have 1,2,&6 I just can't wait till we go back down in fact I am taking notes for some of the places that I want to go to this time, In fact i took a picture of the Jennie Waide house and to our supprise it turned out really foggey but the very next shot was crestal clear then I took another shot of the same thing and would you believe that it also turned out the same way as the first one had, Was it a Ghost or not Who Knows but it sure is strange
