Another insightful book by by favorite psychic! There is a lot to be learned here, forgiving, letting go, understanding why we are the way we are (does that make sense? anyway...) This book is comforting, positive, and spiritually healing. Thank you Sylvia...
Given as a gift to many!October 6, 2005 I have given this book to several friends who have lost love ones and it has ALWAYS given people comfort. It is my favorite book that Sylvia has written.

Mr philosophyfan seeks every opportunity to rate and review Sylvia poorly. He always mentions the James Randi thing - you must be James Randi. I would not give James Randi the time of day either. Sylvia proves her abilities every day. She cites a high accuracy rate, she does not claim to always be right or to know it all - only God knows it all, and she does not claim to be God. The amount of time and energy this philosohyfan spends rating sylvia at every site he can and on every book, always with the mention of James Randi-shheesh! You want to boost your own publicity.
Fraud!March 18, 2005 9 out of 41 found this review helpful
On September 3, 2001 Sylvia Browne and James Randi appeared on Larry King Live. On that date Browne agreed to the James Randi Educational Foundation's (JREF) protocol to test her "abilities." She agreed, which was actually the second time she committed herself to the test. James Randi offers one million dollars cash to anyone who can prove the paranormal, and the applicant designs his or her own test. The JREF simply observes the process to prevent cheaters.
Browne agreed on CNN to do this to prove she was the real deal. 8 days later two planes were flown into the World Trade Center and not one "fortune teller" saw it coming. John Edwards appeared on Larry King Live 8 hours before the planes hit, and not one of those "souls in the afterlife" gave him any hint of anything.
You can see the clock since Browne agreed to be tested for One Million Dollars (that would feed a lot of starving people) and read the story at www.randi.org
Her best workApril 29, 2003 15 out of 20 found this review helpful
I am really into this author. This is probably my favorite of her books. I really hope she's the real deal. Everything she says makes sense, but in the back of my mind I can't help but wonder about her credibility. For example, when she's telling someone about their deceased loved one, she'll say "Did they have beautiful eyes, oval shaped face, broad features, sweet smile?". That could be anyone! EVERYONE thinks their loved one has "beautiful eyes". You'll never hear a mother say about her dead son "Oh no, he was very unpleasant looking".
The last review is correct. Sylvia does give very good advivce and is inspirational. So I guess that makes this book worth it alone.
