Mostly makes senseNovember 22, 2008 This is not the first or best book I have read on the Essenes, but it was pretty good, entertaining if nothing else. Most of it lines up with what I have come to understand about the Essenes, and therefore adds some color to that. There are a couple of explanations that seem unlikely or unnecessary. But mostly I enjoyed it, and in a world where everything is suspect, its a good read.
Is it just me, or is everyone else completely insane?July 1, 2008 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Am I taking happy pills? This book expressly purports to be "an eye-witness account of the secrets of the mystery school of the Essenes at Qumran; and Jesus' and Joseph of Arimathea's connection to the Essenes." Instead it is some 70 year old quack's account of his "past life regressions" in which he supposedly hooks up with some spirits from the past that lay it all out for him! HONESTLY! What a crock! This is the only book that I have ever purchased in my 40 odd years of pursuing a scholarly interest in the mystery schools and teachings of enlightenment that I feel is an absolute, undeniable, completely fradulent scam. No really, Stuart had a past life regression and now he is an expert on the history of the Essenes. Hello, people....
Jesus and Essenes - loving descendants of the Atlanteans?June 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's time for the truth, love, and wisdom for all. Ethical and professional, Stuart Wilson gives us a fascinating look at the life of Jesus and the very advanced Essene communities that taught (reminded), housed, and protected Jesus through the first-person eyes of hypnotherapy clients experiencing past-life regression. Perhaps the Essenes really were very intelligent and loving, descendants of Atlantis or Lemuria whose life purpose was to make sure the truth got passed on. Put together the puzzle pieces of history that make so much more sense than some mistranslated scriptures. This fascinating view of Jesus and the Essenes from the perspective of his family, friends, students, and teachers will cover you with "truth-bumps"! Discover more lost and hidden knowledge through reading some others of my most recent favorites on this subject: "The Messengers" by Julia Ingram and GW Hardin, "The Lost Sisterhood" by Julia Ingram, "They Walked with Jesus" and "Jesus and the Essenes" by Delores Cannon. I couldn't put any of them down until I finished the last page!

This is a fabulous view of these remarkable people which correlates to the new consciousness that is awakening on Earth at this time. Their message is clear and from Spirit.
Affirming and uplifting!May 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The kind of information one does not normally get from past life regressions. Wonderful how it confirms other authors with a different slant, coming from other sources. A real must for anyone who has read "Anna, Grandmother of Jesus".
