thought this book might encourage or help me to understand the passing of a loved one. i barely skimmed the pages. maybe i just wasn't ready to read it?

Very good compilation of adc's. I found I read only one chapter an evening as I needed to digest the information. I only wish it was in a hard bound book with bigger printing.

I truly found this book to be a great source with getting in touch with my lost loved son, he died of 28 years old, and I truly beleived in after death communcations, however after reading thi book, and my son passing, I am convinced that this book will hepl anyone who wants to make contact or thinks they have been contacted by a loved one that has passed over

This book is either the best news you've ever heard or it's total B.S. The authors' premise is that many people have been contacted by deceased loved-ones through various means; for instance, by visions of them, by hearing their voices, while the experiencers are awake, while asleep, etc. But the subjects have been reluctant to speak about them for fear of being deemed crazy.
Most of the deceased loved ones cited in the book, even ones who died tragically, are quoted to say they're happy and at peace in a wonderful, beautiful place, and are together with friends and family members who've passed over. Many say that everyone's life has a mission, and that we are taken from the earth when we've accomplished it.
Some experiencers even claim they've been saved from calamities by timely audible or visual warnings by deceased loved ones ("Stop the car now!").
The authors maintain they took a comprehensive survey, and that all these accounts are from actual people who had these contacts. But I have to admit to myself that publishing a book which promised our deepest wishes and quelled our deepest fears would be a clever way to make a fortune.
If you're interested in investigating this subject, this is a fascinating report of it. I suggest you initially take a neutral stance, and reserve your belief or disbelief until further verification. My five-star rating is based on the assumption that all the reports in the book are actual.

I have read several books on Near Death Experiences, and I came across this book while reading "Lessons From The Light." This is an excellent book. It is filled with so many great accounts of After Death Communications. If you have ever been interested in ADCs, then you need to read this....it will really make you stop and think. It helps you to realize that some things aren't simply "dreams" but actual ADCs!! I have had one, and it made me excited to learn that so many others have had the same experience.
There is an awesome chapter on suicide. If you have ever known someone that committed suicide, this book will give you much hope!
My favorite chapter was the last one. It gives a great description of what Heaven/Hell truly is....it was so imformative, I read this chapter 3 times! People need to read this and have a clear, open-minded understanding about eternity, and God's grace. People have this mythological image of heaven and hell....and this will help you to understand what heaven/hell REALLY are.
This book will give you so much hope!
