These are NOT the answers from GodDecember 10, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is nothing but pages and pages of telling people exactly what they WANT to hear. This man did not sit down and ask God tough questions and wait for a Godly answer, he simply wrote a bunch of garbage that will get his book on the best sellers list. There is nothing Biblical or Spiritual about his answers, they are worldy answers.
DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN NEAR THIS TRASH!

NOT WORTH YOUR TIMEDecember 4, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Don't even validate this author by buying this book. He's just saying what he thinks will sell books.
If you want God, go to his Word, not a manDecember 1, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
God bless the confused and misled! If you want to hear from God, try praying and read the Word that He gave us. If you don't believe in the validity of the Bible then what makes this man or any other man right???? You have questions for God but first you must ask yourself what you believe in and what you want you faith to rest on. God does not intend to make us feel good about everything we do or want. He wants us to conform to Him but this man is conforming God to what he wants Him to be. Beware of false prophets!
Simply Life ChangingDecember 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read "Conversations With God" when it was first published in 1995. I was an angry 18 year old snot nosed punk at the time. This book and the subsequent books that followed, brought me from the brink of self destruction and helped subdue the anger and resentment I had at the time. I credit Walsch's books with inspiring me to be a more generous, loving and peaceful human being. I have been so inspired by this book that I have given it to several friends and family members over the years. It continues to inspire me to this day. Unfortunately, there are several reviews here that, well intentioned as they may be, only offer more examples of the hypocracy and intolerance that consume most of the world's organized religious institutions. If only these people could adopt some of the basic techings of the whole "With God" series. "We are all one" and "mine is not the only way, merely another way". This book literally changed my life and continues to positively effect my personal and spiritual evolution. Read it with an open mind and awaken to a new thought that just may be of value to you too.
