A Must Read and Re- read March 16, 2007 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
I have read this book four times, the first time I read it I was called a "christian" but I never knew what was to be truly saved, this book scarried me so bad I couldn't believe this kind of revelation. However, thanks God, this book (along with other powerful testmonies) opened widely my spiritual eyes and led me to salvation.
This is an amazing book to any one who longs to know Jesus and follow Him. It is so filled with the word of God, everything goes with biblical verses. Because of this book I was able to discover a lot truth in Bible especially in Old Testmant I never knew before. Guys, watch out God said that "His people perish for lack of knowledge".
I strongly recommend this book to everyone, believers, non believers, satanists or not ( prayfully, by the grace of Jesus you will be also enlighted), nobody should be mad or get so frustrated of this book except of course the devil, his demons, and those who chose the paths of lias and destruction. Rebecca has done her responsability to share with us this revelation of Satan's work against God's people, it is up to everyone to believe it or not, However, no man no one will dare to stand before the throne of The Almight Holy God of Heaven, and The son Jesus Christ (of Nazareth Who lived on earth 30 years, died and rose again ) on that day. May God bless you all!!
Awsome Book February 13, 2007 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
Those who bad mouth Dr. Brown are probably Satanist themselves. As for me I found the book keeping me on the edge. I loved the book. Dr. Brown never has gone to a psychiatrist why would she? Think about it. These are the times when we need the spirit of Discernment. There's a Real War against God's chosen people and the Devil doesn't want them to receive the Prize.
Seriously flawed reasoning.... January 25, 2007 7 out of 11 found this review helpful
In the very first chapter, Dr. Brown illustrates why this book can't be taken seriously. She demonstrates serious flaws in her reasoning process (pg 11-12), admits to a background that would make her prone to a persecution complex and lacking any healthy skepticism (pg 8), and tends towards delusions of grandeur in her relationship with God (pg 12).
Initially I was quite intrigued with the possiblility of having a clear eyed report of the process of winning a dyed-in-the-wool Satanist over to God's light and love. Instead, Dr. Brown comes across as being just as unthinking and crazed in her beliefs as the Satanists she seeks to convert. She repeatedly fails to look into what normal experiences have been recorded before attributing the events she perceives to extraordinary supernatural powers (pgs 9, 13, 15). Part of me is disgusted with the educational institutions that awarded this person degrees in nursing and medicine, in that she somehow failed to learn how to analyze, think critically or reason.
It's too bad she couldn't have been a little more straightforward in reporting the events that make up the book -- it would have packed much more punch. As it is, I just can't recommend it. Read it if you must, but remember this falls at the low end of believable testimony.
Truth will set you free January 18, 2007 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
One thing I have grown to learn is some people really don't understand how the enemy has come to numb the understanding of his kingdom. This book was very insightful. You can think you don't have principalities assigned to you if you want, but that is complete contradiction to the Word. You can not have effective ministry without knowing how satan and his emmisaries function. demons are real and thier assignment is very clear...they came to steal, kill and destroy the same assignment as thier father. Whoever reads this book, before you read this book ask God pray and ask God for His Spirit to lead and guide you into all truths. This books purpose is to enlighten you and one of the most important TRUTHS you will recieve is Our God will never leave nor forsake you and we have angels that protect us even when satan launches his greatest attacks. So, just be lead by the Spirit before, during and after reading this book. In His service!
A very strong message January 9, 2007 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
This book has a lot of information. I suggest reading this book and looking at the bible for more in formation because some of the parts are unclear by just reading the book alone. In general, I love this book gives me inspiration.
