Many books have been written about the Fama Fraternitatis R. C. by intelligent, erudite people over the centuries since it was published. Many people have puzzled over it and tried to make sense out of it. These books are interesting, and no doubt some of them are helpful if you are trying to write a thesis. But once you've read them, you may have collected up a few more facts, but what difference has that really made to your life? Jan van Rijckenborgh's book isn't like that, because he is speaking from his own experience. He gives an insider's view. And as he explains the Call of the Brotherhood of the Rosycross paragraph by paragraph, he also explains how to respond to the call of the Brotherhood, how one can change one's own life. He knows his subject, and he's an excellent and inspirational teacher. Highly recommended.
