Experience it or don'tDecember 24, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow, it was interesting to read all the different reviews about this book. I'm glad to see God and self awareness in question more and more. It shows how much we are changing and how fast! Yes, momentum is picking up. I think this book is another example of how awareness is growing in our world. It baffles me how some reviewers warn others not to experience the book for themselves. The book was created by an inspired being like all books, like all creations. No book is a claim to fact. It is something created to share. So, experience it for yourself and decide what you think. No hand is forcing anyone to believe either way. Why all the upheaval? Take it or leave it, but don't tell everyone else what to do with it.
Thought provoking bookDecember 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love books of this nature and I have to say "Conversations with God" was very intriguing. Walsh had many questions in his mind and decided to use a pen and paper to write his questions down. To his amazement he felt God was answering these questions. Whether God answered his questions or not is not up to me to say. If this book helps people, then great, Walsh accomplished his task. There is another book out there from an author who claimed he was enlightened by God. It is entitled "The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone" by John H. Eagan. The only thing that sets John H. Eagan's book apart from all the others is when you read what God told him, you really get a sense of who God is, what He wants us to do now, and what we'll really do in the afterlife.
UnrealDecember 16, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Why does every book need to be compared to the bible. Whi decides what was in the bible? Vatican Priests thats who. Do you have any idea howe many books were written by Gnostic Christians in eary 100-200 ad thats were left OUT of the new testament? And wasn't the Vatican Church the same church thats gave the world such great times like the Dark Ages, The Inquisition, and the Crusades? PEOPLE decided what was to be put in the Bible not God. An isn't it interesting tha t everytime someone has a different perspective on God , they are persicuted just like Jesus was, I guess Christians truly are the Satan, they act in the comlpete opposite spririt of thier mentor. They act in the most opposite of God themselves. Creating seperatism and disunity, the exact Opposite of God. Religon should be viewed as stepping stones to God's truth, not the not stone tables written that can never be changed.
Wish there was a ZERO star rating-December 11, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I agree with many others who are rating this a one star. This is not Christianity. Humanism is trying to cloak itself here - it is sad that so many reviewers are being mislead to think this is a great book.
Worthless fluffDecember 10, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a book to pass up as it is page after page of fluff with no substance for the individual who is truly interested in coversing with God.
