Humeroud yet very interesting with good pointsSeptember 7, 2008 This book was fast and fun to read. I liked it because it goes along with much of what I believe and helps to reinforce my way of thinking. The author has a great sense of humor and I would love to meet her someday...probably won't though since we live on opposite ends of the country and she has a 2-year plus waiting list. Says a lot about her though! :-)
Psychic phenomena and the other worldSeptember 6, 2008 Concetta Bertoldi really awakens our curiosity and beliefs about this life and the life to come in this very unusual albeit wonderful book on psychic phenomena, life and death and what we can expect in the life to come. It is written in a convenient question and answer format and, in my opinion, seems credible enough to hold my interest. After all, Mrs. Bertoldi apparently is a genuine psychic medium who seems to know what she is writing about in a sincere yet humourous style that is enjoyable to read and grabs one's attention. I would recommend it to anyone who already believes in God and wants more details into the how's and why's of our present and future existence.
Makes you want moreSeptember 1, 2008 Easy, quick read and a perfect book to pick up when you want to read a small chapter at a time. As many of the questions are interesting and fun, it lends itself to wanting to ask more serious and introspective questions of the spirits on the other side. I always wonder why people don't ask the more intelligent questions that could help us learn our real reality. If our dead friends and relatives cross over and now "know everything", why not ask them who killed JFK, or if there are really UFOs and aliens, or how reincarnation really works, i.e., what happens to us, step-by-step, after leaving the earth plane? Why not talk with some of the suicide bombers who kill themselves and many others, who think they are going to heaven to be with x-many virgins. I would love to get their reaction of what they actually discovered on the other side, and how they now feel about killing themselves and others. I wish people would ask mediums more intelligent questions. However, overall this book was fun and light reading, and interesting in itself.
good readSeptember 1, 2008 this book is a good read. it will not change what you believe and some will even be skeptical of what she says. however if you already believe in this way of the afterlife (we are all a connected energy) then she confirms quite a bit of those beliefs and may even shed light on some other unanswered questions. everything is written in a easy to understand conversational language, and broken up into very short (1-2 page) chapters.
