Impressive, would recommend.December 31, 2008 I was pleasantly surprised with the content of Chris's book. Keep in mind that his mother is his mentor and friend so he refers to her often, but he touches on things in depth that I haven't read in Sylvia's books. Also, he has his own unique way of working which I found very interesting and could relate. He also has a respectful and comforting work ethic. I would definately recommend this book and I hope he writes more of them.
- nah -July 17, 2008 I'm a big fan of Sylvia's books and knowledge (hay house radio), but i was really disapointed by this book.
I thought it would give us more stories about Chris and his experiences and more knowledge on how to see if your child has this gift...you know, fun facts or stories when he was young?
Instead he tells use about his life with his mom and how he became a psychic like her.
Informative and Heart TouchingJuly 13, 2008 Chris, like his mother has excellent, yet different writing styles. You can tell that both have the same beliefs/philosophies when it comes to giving readings, yet both have different preferences (Sylvia will do trances, Chris will do astral traveling - while both can do the other way, each prefers not to). I loved this book in that I felt like Chris was right there talking to me. He gave more insight into not only his life and family and how he came into doing what he does, but he also has simple things you can do to develop your own abilities. He'd give an example with his life and then tell you how you can practice to improve your own abilities.
Interesting Son.March 25, 2008 This book gives a personal insight into the 'real people', Sylvia and son. I am enjoying experiencing their life and relationship and relating it to my own.
My Psychic Journey: How to be more PsychicFebruary 20, 2008 This was the first book I read by Sylvia's son Chris. His writing flows in the same manner as Sylvia. I enjoyed this book and Chris very natural style of writing. He gave lots of good advice on helping you bring out your own psychic ability. I have recommended this book to many people I know and they have enjoyed it as well. It's also nice to see a different perspective from the same household. Chapter 16 and the prayers are especially helpful, He give you more detail about what goes on behind a day in the life of a psychic. Chapter 10 has some great exercises if you haven't already tried them. I am hoping he'll come out with another book soon as I was so touched my his style and honesty.
