Loved itJanuary 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I enjoyed reading this book and especially appreciated the insights connecting the lessons from one life to another. The author presents views that inspire me to see relationships from an interesting position. Applying some of the principles I read has already begun an improvement in my own life. I like being challenged to consider new ideas.

Having read most of Dr. Weiss' books, I was eager to delve into this one. I read it more slowly than usual, over time, in order to absorb what he is saying.
I believe in reincarnation and soulmates, and know I have been places before this life. Now I am looking forward to what will come after this life. I learned that I can improve myself in this life as well as in the next.
What an inspiring message of hope Dr. Weiss gives us!
Much food for thoughtNovember 30, 2007 Always very interesting to read of Dr. Weiss' experiences and what he learns throughout the discoveries he makes. For the open-minded this book can provide some fascinating insight into aspects of life most people wonder about, creating much food for thought in the process.
Not yet convinced but getting thereNovember 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having read all of Brian Weiss's books, I must say that this is probably his best. It is probably the exact opposite of what he has done so far i.e. progression vs. regression. The basic purpose of the book is to demonstrate through progression that one's present life can be happier and more meaningful. While I am not sure whether I necessarily believe in progression therapy, I do abundantly believe in the past-lives theory and, by default, believe in future lives. I was convinced after reading "Many Lives, Many Masters" that delving into previous lives could have therapeutic possibilities for the present. After reading this book, I believe that the opposite is also possibly true i.e. it is possible to have a curative effect by looking to the future.

He got it in one with this one. There is so much information in this one - pick a topic and he touches on it. And yet he wrote it in a manner like "Many Lives, Many Masters" as opposed to the almost textbook way he wrote "Through Time Into Healing" or others. It was too easy to read, even. I'm going to have to read it again.
You do not have to believe in reincarnation to get the messages out of this book. The book deals with love, compassion and empathy as core elements and I really think that those are universal messages everyone in the world can believe in.
I think this is the best book Weiss has written to date.
