Indigo Adults . . . FinallySeptember 15, 2008 While I don't agree with every viewpoint the authors expressed, it is such a relief to hear from people who believe that Indigos aren't just a wave born in the 70s and understand our characteristics. There are quite of number of pre-70s Indigos out here. The particular gift of the book is that it gives adult Indigos a voice, recognizes us, let's us feel as though we're "known." The discomfort of being assigned motives that aren't there and often recognizing others' pain, deceipt, vulnerabilities, etc., regardless of what is being said, is more bearable once we have a frame of reference. I'm most grateful to these authors for their insights (and validation) and look forward to other books by them.

This 'book' is a lecture that was transcribed and part of the question and answer session was added to each chapter. It NEVER clearly defined what an Indigo Adult is OR any of the struggles an Indigo Adult has. ALL of the material in it can be found elsewhere on the internet, and in greater detail.
In fact, based on how the 'book' was written, I DOUBT that the writers were even Indigo themselves. IF they would, they would have been able to CONNECT to what the ISSUES really were for Indigos, including those who KNOW they are, and those who WONDER IF they are Indigo.
The chapter added to the beginning of the book about Astrology was a complete WASTE of time and effort...and truly added nothing to the discussion. There was no point to those pages EXCEPT to add fluff, to fill up space so they had something on the pages except white space, as there are a minimum number of pages a book has when doing a print run.
The book clearly points to their site if you're looking for more information. Then points you to their TRAINING, which essentially is their brand of New Age therapy. There is nothing truly specific to Indigos, aside from the name of their site. Period.
A big disappointment from an Adult Indigo.

I am def an Indigo and my son is too. This book is very revealing and shows you how to manage this type of personality.

This book is life changing. It answers so many questions that I though were unanswerable. It hit on so many points in my life from childhood till now. I'm in shock! Someone out there really understands. It's a must read for everyone. If you feel lost, alone, out of place, or just don't know how to deal with the world around you. I recommend this book 100%
