Too technicalNovember 12, 2008 This book is too technical for the beginner or someone that knows a little about this subject. It is written too much like a text book that should be used along with an in-person class. I would not recommend it.
Healing Energy WorkSeptember 15, 2008 If you can't be in class, then this is a great teaching substitute until you can! Clear with chapter exercises as well.
Be Careful - The Author is Too Impressed with HerselfAugust 4, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book excited me with its many illustrations, but after reading the preface and the beginning, I was turned off. The author makes a claim that only someone with her background can do what she does. Ridiculous. We all come from different backgrounds so who is say what any one of us can or cannot do?
Red flags go up when I hear claims like that; to me, they speak only of closed-mindedness. Consequently, I take the other information presented with a huge grain of salt. I'm not interested in somebody's ego stroking. I'm seeking spiritual growth. Anyone who claims that they know the one and only route to something is deluding themselves. The Universe has many paths and we are all traveling the path that is uniquely ours. Good luck on your journeys.
