I loved this book and I just hope that the predictions she made, especially those for health issues does come true.
Interesting History of Prophecies, Ho-Hum Predictions by SylviaJuly 30, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I was initially impressed with the amount of work that had gone into researching "end-of-days" predictions of other prophets and whackos throughout history. Since the majority of the book was based on that interesting information, I give it 3 stars.
I was not impressed however with Sylvia's own predictions. There are so many contradictions just pages away from each other it becomes very clear that Sylvia is hedging her bets on everything she predicts. Many of her "predictions" just sound like wishful thinking, opinions, and ideas she just came up with as anyone with a little imagination could pull off.
Predicting far-off distant future events is an easy thing to do, because more likely than not, you'll never have to answer to anyone about all of your misses. People seem to be impressed with Sylvia's abilities as Medium and witty advice-giver. Maybe she should stick to that talent and leave the predictions to those who are more convincing. Being psychic doesn't mean you have to know everything about everything. Pretending to have all the answers, eventually people will figure you out, and then you lose credibility. It's OK to say "I don't know"... unless of course you're trying to sell books.

End of Days: Predictions and Prophecies About the End of the WorldJuly 29, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Well written containing a lot of information. This book not only gives her views but the beliefs from early civilizations.
An Informative ReadJuly 29, 2008 This book was a good read in part becasue it covered a number of different end of the world theories. On the religious aspect it was very thorough. it gave a basic outline of most of the worlds major religions. I found this to be quite informative. Like many of Syliva Browne's books they are pretty straight forward and offer a great deal of insight on the topic she chooses to write about.
