Witty, Playful Take on Hinduism January 13, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This was described to me as "a younger, hipper take on Hinduism." You get fifty deities, demigods, avatars, mythical planets and epic characters. The art is eye-catching and happy looking. A page is devoted to each deity with a picture and easy text. It can be used to keep Asian-American kids in touch with their culture or to introduce anyone to what Hinduism is.
A must have December 31, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Amazing book, the best gift to give to anyone from years 3 to 100. If you buy only one of these you'll end up ordering a couple more for your friends later. Be smart, order a few! :)
Full of humor, sweet and educational December 27, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this book when it was still being self-published. My daughter loves it. It's a great guide to Hindu deities. There's wonderful subtle humor in it and the drawings are wonderful. It's been a great addition to our library to teach our daughter about world religions.

We bought this book for our 3 year old daughter - when Mr. Patel sold the first printing from his website.
My daughter loves this book - and reads it over and over. It is a nice introduction for her to Indian mythology and the art work is great.
