Touching Story That Can Change Lives March 20, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really feel that every human being in America should read this book and see how God is working even when we can't see it. God had a plan for Denver, which could not be seen by world. This story truly touches your heart and changes your way of looking at the world. I bought two copies and I have to buy another because I can't wait to share this story with my family and friends. Both my mother and I agree, this is the best book we've read in years!!!! God Bless you all, and continue to share this blessing with others.
A book you can't put down March 18, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am a librarian at a small public library. One of our regular patrons thought this book would make a good addition to our book club section and asked if I would read it. I am so glad that I did. At first I didn't realize it was a true story, but once I did, I was amazed and very touched by the amount of faith Ron, Denver, and all their friends had during Deborah's illness and subsequent death. I think all of us should read a book like this to get us back on track with what is really important in life- faith in God! I plan to buy several copies of this book to add to our collection and I hope many others who read this book will enjoy it like I did.

Absolutley awesome and inspiring. Worth every moment reading this book. This true story is a testiment to what a diverse and amazing God we serve. God can take any circumstance and mold it into something useful and beautiful even death.

I am an employee of a rural library in Washington state. One of my patrons came in a couple months ago and said she had just read this book, and we had to get it. She had bought 10 copies for friends and family. I decided to recommend it to our director to be added to the collection and at the same time I decided to buy my own copy! After reading it with tears flowing down my cheeks, it sits proudly in my home library, but I will buy a copy for each of my family. Never did I realize what my Dad raised me to be "proud" of in my heritage was so nasty and degrading! God bless Denver and Ron. But most of all, bless the angel in their lives who facilitated this friendship. If you only read two books in your life, let one of them be this.
