Good Book for many things February 20, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have been using this book off and on for the last few years and have found many benificial rituals and meditations in it that I use on a daily basis which have really hightened me in many ways.
This book is good for getting alot of information on other histories and groups that have been around for ages, great for referencing, but there are a couple incorrect spellings and pronounciations on some god names and such, which is actually a good thing for those who aren't sure what they are, but besides that, the book is pretty well layed out, giving helpful insights on "how to" with many things, for begginers or advanced, everyone can find something usefull in this book. I feel it's worth the money, and I bought the meditation tapes also that he walks you through, those have been pretty helpful also.
He touches on rituals, meditations, enochian magick, Golden Dawn, OTO, the Quabala, and many other things. I lost interest in some chapters, but others make up for it.. I call it one of my bibles, it really rescources many great things that are hard to understand or find anywhere else.
It's safe, and easy to understand. =S=

When I read the book I was shoked by the fact that the writer in his rituals dares to pronounce the Lord "HAVAIA" name.
The writer claims that he knows the Kabbala and as a such he might know that the roots of the Kabbala are based on the Judaism and the Judaism is base on the Holy Bible.
And in the Bible the Lord has written in his 10 commandments (Exodos 20,7) that one should never uses his holy name and the Lord add that this sin his unforgivable.
Only the "Cohanim" that served in the holy temple in Jerusalem used this name during their services and they had to purify themself first.
So anyone else that uses this name or other forbidden holy names need to know that he puts himself into a big big trouble.
The Kabbala said that the punishment of misusing of the HAVAIA name ,HA-SHEM HA-MEFORASH (The Lord translated name) is CARET and it means that it's soul will be cut off from the divinity.
So all the next generation magicians have to know that the seek for divinity can get them the opposite.
So please don't misuse any holy name and remember:
The Lord holy name is not a game.

This book provides awesome explanation and instruction is many classic rituals including: the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, the Middle Pillar Ritual, the Opening/Closing by Watchtower, and many others. It gives great instruction on how to construct, consecrate, and use the Fire Wand, Water Chalice, Air Dagger, and Earth Pentacle. I would recomend this book to anyone willing to dedicate themselves to a life of Magick, in study AND practice!!!

You can work with this book for at least a year. It contains a full curriculum for developing and refining you own magical skills. The daily exercises and projects will keep you so busy that you should plan to let this be the only book you work with for a while at least. A must have for the Western magician.
