Good January 8, 2009 This was a good book for my research; wasn't what I thought it would be.
Magical Aromatherapy August 15, 2008 A short history of aromatherapy, how to use oils and herbs, a list of 100 plants and their magical properties. This book is easy to read and Scott Cunningham also give warnings about allergies and reactions to oils. A very responsible author who firmly believes in what he has written.A very useful book for your own spellwork.
Not enough information to fully understand aromatherapy February 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book did not explain enough about aromatherapy for me to understand the the full extent of how to mix diffrent essential oils. It is a good and helpful book but it wasn't enough for me.
Potent Reading on Magickal Scents from a Little Book by Scott Cunningham September 8, 2007 At first,i thought this book would 'stink'.There is nothing malodorous about this good small book.Cunningham has a way of writing that is cosy and informative.I read this at two sittings, over the weekend. He provides many historical examples throughout the book. There's an excellent glossary and extensive appendixes for further reading on the aromatherapy topic. And the crux and heart of the book,is the one hundred plus pages of the magickal powers and uses of the aromas. My only beef with the book,is that it has no colorful pictures provided or product pictures shown. So,you would have to investigate further at your metaphysical shoppe, before you start wildly buying the various herbs, oils, and spices. For beginning new-agers around, this magickal aroma book is an excellent starting point on your quest towards healthier living .
