The Coming Great Reformation September 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Awesome days are ahead for the Church, and while Strom's book may not solve all of the world's problems, it will certainly enlighten many on where Christianity is today, while highlighting the pitfals and precipices of past revivals and why the need for a catastrophic 'sifting and shaking' that will bring true repentance and revival. With deft brush strokes, Strom enlarges his palette with emboldened colors from past revivalists and then with a sweeping brush, paints the portrait of the last day insipid Church with its maze of golden coffers, sensual Christianity, and money grabbing pulpiteers, while bringing the reader into the wider view of the real intent of its mission in the words of Christ, "And they loved not their lives until the death." (Rev. 12:11)

That is what the separation is for. Those that are looking for the comming of Jesus and those that are looking to setup an earthly kingdom. The next revival will be in the sky. Look up people not down. Keep your hearts on what is heavenly not earthly. Google Stanley Frodsham
Reformation & Revival June 21, 2008 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
The great reformer Martin Luther once said: "Learn from me, how difficult a thing it is to throw off errors confirmed by the example of all the world, and which, through long habit, have become a second nature to us."
This well-balanced, hard-hitting book, will challenge and encourage you in your walk with God and in your understanding of what Bible-based Christianity and revival really are. You will be challenged to reconsider the conventional establishment that we call "Christianity" and encouraged to seek God for the real New Testament organic organism that lives and breathes the LIFE, LOVE, POWER, TRUTH, UNITY and GRACE of the Holy Spirit of God.
Be blessed as you read and be stirred afresh in your spirit to go after the King!
Grace and love to all the saints!
