Provides an succinct introductory overview into the Prophet Baha'u'llah's teachingsJanuary 3, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Baha'u'llah (1817-1892) was the founder of the Baha'i faith which has its historical roots in Islam, but is considered a separate religion which considers all the messengers of God to be valid guides including (but not limited to) Krishna, Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad. Baha'u'llah is considered by the Baha'i community to be another of these prophetic messengers whose work was to reveal an unfolding divine plan for humanity. Selected Writings Of Baha'u'llah provides an succinct introductory overview into the Prophet Baha'u'llah's teachings, including his remarks on God, God's Messengers, the path to God, spiritual aspects of the world civilization, the nature of the human soul and its journey after death, and the renewal of God's covenant with humanity. Also very highly recommended reading for students of the Baha'i faith is the companion pocket book, Gleanings From The Writings Of Baha'u'llah (1931847-223, $12.00).
