Wonderful insight from a gracious, older and experienced female Ironman athlete! I found Cherie's book to be inspirational and full of useful advice... great information or just tidbits that reinforce what I already know about training for this tough event. For NEW or SEASONED triathletes, it is a nice reminder of how to go about IM training, especially when one gets a little off track! As a seasoned, female IM athlete myself, I am often looked to for coaching advice, and this book is one that I highly recommend! An easy read, and a book that you can pick up again and again, reading just a paragraph or two (like when you can barely keep your eyes open after a long hard day of training), and always be inspired to keep going when it gets tough!
