This is a review of the Kindle book. I had high hopes for this collection when I bought it, as I have always been a fan of fables and fairy tales of all types. (I wrote my master's thesis on "Grimm's Fairy Tales.) But upon downloading this to my Kindle, I discovered that the table of contents begins and ends with separating the books from one another. As soon as I open a book, the "table of contents" is nothing more than a list of the works contained therein. Since fables and fairy tales tend to be fairly short, this means that there are literally HUNDREDS of short pieces in here that I CANNOT ACCESS except by paging through the 25 books page by page and putting in bookmarks at EVERY SINGLE STORY. That's going to give me a list of bookmarks that's over 20 pages long! And even when I finally do get that gigantic list of bookmarks made, there will be no indication whatsoever if the bookmark refers to a fable by George Ade, by the brothers Grimm, or by H. C. Anderson.
In a collection like this, an active table of contents is not an option; it is a necessity. I'm disappointed to say the least.
