Product Description Businessman Mark Ireland’s father was Richard Ireland, a deeply spiritual minister and renowned psychic and medium who counted Mae West among his famous clients. While he loved his father, Mark followed a more conventional path in pursuit of mainstream success—until the wrenching death of his youngest son. This unexpected tragedy plunges Mark into the spiritual world of psychics and mediums in a frantic attempt to communicate with the dead. His defenses and pragmatic mindset begin to fade as he remembers premonitions on the day of his son’s death. He consults a number of well-known mediums and is struck by the remarkably accurate information their readings provide. Mark first meets with Allison Dubois, the subject of NBC’s hit show Medium, and later participates in a single-blind lab experiment with medium Laurie Campbell, filmed for a Discovery Channel feature. He then enters a new dimension of personal paranormal experience, as his own psychic awareness begins to unfold. This dramatic story of a father’s unbearable loss and his discovery of life after death offers hope to the bereaved and compelling evidence that death may not be the end.

With "Soul Shift", Mark Ireland has woven a tapestry of immense grief, a strong case for continuum in relationships beyond the lifeline, and a new idea which ties the physical world with the spiritual. Using the common "thread" of celestial vibration, he concludes the possibility of organic life after death within the confines of modern particle physics. He has proffered a unique and believable concept for mankind to consider on the way to an enlightened understanding of our home in the galaxy. Not unlike Galileo, he gifts us with a telescopic tool for pondering the psychic universe.

Soul ShiftAugust 8, 2008 I could not put this book down! Having been through several tragic losses within my family, I found Soul Shift to be both comforting and thought provoking. The author clearly presents the reader with a profound sense of quiet calm and emotional clarity for coping with the passing of a loved one. If you have ever doubted it before, you will now know that your loved ones are with you always and you will surely meet with them again. While reading the first chapter I found myself in tears; however, for the first time since the passing of my 3 siblings, it was a "different" kind of tears; ones that embodied an awakened awareness giving me an emotional and mental freedom never before experienced. It was a "comfortable sadness" if that even makes sense. I felt at ease. Reading this book is as close as I have come to transcending the suffering of losing my loved ones. Pass the word, let everyone know that Soul Shift will bring comfort, hope and serenity. My deepest thanks and regards to Mark Ireland, you have guided me to an inner peace that has always been within but never perceived nor appreciated. You are a guiding star to all that read your book.
The Gift of HopeAugust 4, 2008 "Soul Shift" is the perfect book for anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Sharing the author's experience provides both comfort and hope. If you believe in life after life, this book will reaffirm your belief. For those who don't, the author's psychic and spiritual experiences will give you much food for thought. In either case, it is an absorbing read.

Soul Shift represents a bridge between all of those people who want to believe in soul survival but have been "turned off" by the hype that normally accompanies such books on the subject. Not only does this book clearly make the case for life beyond the grave but it provides consensus type proof. The fact that the author plays devils advocate throughout gives this book and its contents the "feeling" of truth. I would recommend it to anyone who has lost a loved one and would like to know if there will ever be a reunion. This book makes it clear there will be, and they don't have to wait until they die.
