Exellent book for those who are intrested in voodoo!August 4, 2007 I like this book becuse it introduces a whole bunch of different methods in not just voodoo but divanation as well. I oraganally had bought this book a while ago but my mother had went nuts about the fact that I'm learning or even bringing in books on voodoo and threw it away without my knowing. :(

I bought this book a few weeks ago as a sceptic. But after reading it through I had a dream to go to the casino. I went the next day and won $200.00. Boy was I happy.

i have a family history in voudon/voodoo but it skipped a generation and i have decided to pick the practice up- this is my first read and it has opened my eyes and senses!!!! i am purchasing new books and research - but this book is the best beginners book out there. the index has all the herbs,oils,incence and charms you need to get a healthy start in this beautiful and wild world. a must have!!!!

I can't say this book is great, as I don't know much about voodoo... however it was comical if anything. You can tell the book isn't supposed to be too serious... it is quite short and I think it's more for laughs, especially since it comes with a cheap, mass-produced, voodoo doll.
However, I did find it to be entertaining and perhaps some of the things in it may actually work... who knows. I find trouble reading a book when someone is talking about individuals who are hundreds of years old but all of these occult books are a little out there for me. If you have some money to spend, go ahead and pick this book up, it's worth the money, never know when you might want to sell your soul to the devil to learn to play an instrument (yes, that is in there).
