Amazon.com Review Looking back, John Edward now sees the early signs that he was destined to become an acclaimed psychic and medium. "There were times when I knew things I shouldn't have known," he writes. "Simple things like who was coming over, or who was on the phone." He knew events in family history that no one had told him about. He was inexplicably fascinated with television characters that possessed supernatural powers. He'd see auras around schoolteachers and hear voices that whispered true information in his mind. Eventually his gifts expanded into hearing the names of spirits "who'd gone to the other side." Finally, as a teenager Edward began to claim rather than question his psychic abilities and committed his life work to pursuing and learning about his gifts. Now that he has become a renowned medium (appearing on numerous talk shows, including Larry King Live), Edwards has written an entertaining "my life as a psychic" type of autobiography, packed with fascinating true stories. At the same time, Edward offers an engaging self-help book, teaching readers how to visit a medium and even showing seekers how they can recognize and develop their own psychic abilities. --Gail Hudson

One Last TilmeSeptember 13, 2008 Thoughtful and provacative. It gave me solace having had a brother who crossed over recently. I know he is still with me and Edward's book is evidence that our loved ones continue to be our lives.
intriguingAugust 27, 2008 This book is well worth reading, and opens our minds to so much more than we can easily or readily understand- it is comforting and disturbing all at once. I highly recommend it.
Easy ReadJune 14, 2008 This book is written for those who wonder how John does what he does, and tells the stories of readings he has done and how those who have passed on come through. The last chapter gives an outline of how to develop your own psychic abilities and seems like it would be interesting to try this exercise and see just what or who comes through. You must have an open mind to do this and I think everyone should at least give it a try. As of now I have not done it, having just finished the book.
Great BookApril 6, 2008 This was such a great book. It kept me so interested, I read the whole thing in 2 days time.
