Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
"This is the revealed grimoire of the left-hand path. There is power for those willing to drink from the cup of the Beast and his Bride, the Devil's Harlot. Herein is the path as walked by one who seeks to reveal the True Path of Ahriman and Lilith-Az, to manifest in flesh the spirit of Azi Dahaka and Cain. Herein is magick from the foundation to higher pathworkings of Sorcery and Black Magick . . . here the works which burn away the modern white-washing of so-called magick and or Witchcraft . . . herein are the rituals of Lucifer, Ancient Persian Sorcery, Goetic magick and forbidden sex magick"

For more than a decade left hand path and dark withcraft expert Michael W. Ford has laboured in the forbidden fields of the dark side of the occult, lit by the pale moon of Luciferian ambition and Satanic drive. Luciferian Witchcraft represents perhaps the major part of his published accomplishments to date. The first editions of most of his works are disappearing into private libraries of occult collector's items-and their prices are increasing enormously. With this fact in mind, Luciferian Witchcraft gathers together in one huge compendium many of the shocking rituals and bizarre initiation rites of black magick that have established Ford as the most cutting-edge exponent of the left hand path tradition in America today. The book begins with a lengthy and highly scholarly exposition of the place of the Draconic adversary within historical magick. Set Typhon, the Egyptian God of Darkness, Ahriman, the Persian Devil and his Whore of Darkness, the Adversary and the Bride of the Devil, Cain the Son, the Gnostic Yaldabaoth, "Child of Chaos", the Path of the Crooked Serpent- Leviathan and Beelzebub and Tiamat, Pazuzu, and Moloch are only some of the topics and figures covered. The second part of the book,The Grimoires of Luciferian Witchcraft, includes several of his most infamous graveyard workings, together with the complete version of the Luciferian Goetia- a completely revised and updated version of the Goetia grimoire from the Lesser Key of Solomon the King. Part three covers Yatukan and Ahrimanic Persian sorcery. As I have mentioned before, it is the willingness and creativity of Ford to look beyond worn-out Christian- and Hebrew-based demonology in search of black magick inspiration that marks his work as unique. Here, forbidden heresies of millenia-old Zoroastrian thought reveal their diabolic secrets to the sorceror. Finally, the last part of the tome has chapters on Sethanic and Angelic Magick, in which the primal force of Set Typhon and the infamous Watchers of the book of Enoch are invoked for cosmic diabolism, and several new and strange sex magick rites of the left hand path are revealed. This totally unique, enormous tome, is finally available. Grab it now and seize the power for yourself!

4 out of 5 stars good, but lacks some depth   September 29, 2008
I've been a LHP practicioner for several years, so I respect Mr. Ford for the work he shares with those who can understand it. There are some truly useful rituals and meditations to perform, but one should not blindly follow the author. The part called "Goetic sorcery" is doubtful for those who had even a little study of Judaism (HOW can Adonai and Tetragrammaton, being in fact related to Jewish god, be called "Luciferian", for example?). I think that any information that comes from this book must be checked by reading some academical stuff. And the better depth and understanding come in mind, the more usable this grimoire becomes.

Also I must say that this books needs a good editor (in some places there is a lot to improve in language department) and an illustrator (pics aren't perfect either), but I understand that the budget is not so big, so it's just a suggestion. Nice job anyway!

5 out of 5 stars bloodline   November 26, 2006

I've read all 3 of M. Ford's main books. The author is a very gifted teacher, and Mrs. Ford is one of the greatest Thelemic witches of our time. The historical research, as well as the passion of this work makes for a complete declaration of what is meant by the antinomian and LHP current. The author has become a manifestation of the Adversary, just as I have of Christ. I've dialogued a bit with his coven members, and i respect the beauty of such commitment, though i prophesied some would become Christians. If you have a taste for Pete Carroll, Austin Osman Spare, and Helg Patterson, then that bloodline continues in this work.

5 out of 5 stars Still digesting everything.   July 26, 2006

At first, when I skimmed through this, I was not exactly over-impressed. On a second reading, however, I found myself thinking differently. There's a line from a song that goes "You know evil is an exact science, being carefully and correctly wrong." I think this book is an excellent example of that statement. There are bits and pieces and parts that may not be "right", but...as a whole...it's all "exactly correct". No matter how you feel about magic (or magick, or maaijeyckie or however you want to speel it...) this book will definitely make an impression on you.

I am not qualified to judge the scholarly contents, being no scholar myself, but I can tell you that this book and it's attendant ritual book, "Liber HvHi", are definitely powerful, in an insidious fashion. At first they are easy to blow off as more "OOO SPOOOKY!" posturing from a "practitioner of the Left Hand Path", but...Well.

I find myself recommending both of these books, if for no other reason than that do have strong emotional content and are powerful workings in their own rights.

5 out of 5 stars Superb Grimoire   June 27, 2006

When I began to read Luciferian Witchcraft, I was waiting for
someone in my car, and dozing off I had a remarkable lucid
dream regarding the part of the grimoire that I was reading,
an amazing dream! I don't know if the author believes this, but
many parts of Luciferian Witchcraft, including and especially
some of the drawings, is magick that he is channeling, and this
is not the first time parts of this book have been present on
earth, but they haven't been present for a long, long time
being lost to humanity through time and the occult persecutions.
A really remarkable book, and I have to salute the author for
creating and presenting this grimoire to us. The drawing of
Ahriman on page 232 is particulary potent when scryed, but
I found this true for most of the book's drawings. Excellant
original work on the Goetia, which the author calls
"The Shemhamphorasch", an old name for the House of the
Goetia beings. Great book!
