Amazon.com Review Renowned psychic Echo Bodine speaks to the life and afterlife of the soul. In the beginning, Bodine addresses life in heaven, shedding her psychic gleanings on the different "levels" of the soul, starting with level one ("totally self-absorbed") through level five (those who "understand the oneness with all of creation and with God"). From here Bodine enters into discussions on the soul's being sent to earth for birth, or "going back to school." Life is considered "the school on earth." And death is our "graduation." Bodine also speaks to the more familiar experiences of "soul travel" (a.k.a. "out-of-body experiences") and the disassociated and depressed state of "soul loss" (which, she believes, is reparable). Those who don't believe in heaven, angels, and life after death will probably find Bodine's writing hokey and implausible. However, believers will be intrigued by this interestingly packaged and well-written book that attempts to answer the ultimate question: Why am I here? --Gail Hudson

Excellent Book! May 25, 2008 I'm so happy I read this book. Lots of information to digest. Interesting & easy reading. Very informative and thought provoking!!
Inspirational to all, A gifted Lady May 11, 2008 I have true admiration for Echo Bodine, her life lessons, her spiritual lessons, she shares with her readers her deepest struggles in life. I will admit after reading Echos of the soul, I absorbed a better understanding of my life, about life in its self. Echo has a way of keeping it simple, as a matter of fact. Countless aw ha moments, as I kept saying to my self, that makes perfect sense. I reccomend this book to all who has ever questioned is there life after death, do our souls live on. Echo is an amazing women, a classy Lady, who has changed the life's of people, healed the sick, mind body & soul. She has made me a better person knowing her, reading her books, and the lessons she has shared about her own life. In other words and I quote " " ECHO YOU ROCK "

A Great Book on the Life & Afterlife of the Soul February 22, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I first read "Echoes of the Soul" about 5 years ago & recently decided to read it again, & I'm glad I did! This book has so many thought provoking insights, thoughts, ideas, & examples that it would be really difficult to remember, think about/consider & learn from them all in just 1 read.
"Echoes of the Soul" covers a wide range of topics concerning the life of our souls, including: the planning of each of our incarnations, when souls enter the body, the death process, what life is like on "the Other Side", and much, much more. The author also discusses the importance of quieting our minds to hear our "still, small voice", as well as creating & maintaining a relationship with God.
Overall, I would highly recommend this book for those who are interested in spirituality - it definitely has a lot to offer!
Uplifting February 20, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I enjoyed this book from page one to the end. If one is open minded about the heavens, and hereafter, this is the book for you. I actually saw myself in many of the aspects of the readings. It has no negativity, and allows you to believe that there is only good to come to those who have faith. I have purchased all of Echo Bodine's books, but this is my favorite. I recommend you read all of her books - it gives you hope if you are willing to consider all that she discusses just "may" be true. I have recommended this to friends who feel it is "too deep" - but that is the type of book I enjoy.
simple & sweet January 4, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love Echo Bodine! Her writing is very easy & fast to read as well as very effective. This is one of my favorite books and offers some interesting perspectives on the soul - it's purpose & journey... and how sometimes our soul doesn't necessarily want us to know what it's up to, but that it has a plan for what it wants during our lifetime here on Earth. I recently gave my copy to a friend whose mother was dieing and I think it helped, even if just a little.
