Product Description

Medium Concetta Bertoldi answers all your questions about life after life

. . . from the irreverent:
(If the dead are always with us, do they have a XXX view of my bedroom?)

. . . to the poignant:
(Will my deceased father be with me when I walk down the aisle on my wedding day?)

. . . to the heartfelt:
(When loved ones leave this life too early or under tragic circumstances, are they eternally heartbroken or can they find peace in heaven?)

Concetta Bertoldi has been communicating with the "Other Side" since childhood. In Do Dead People Watch You Shower?, the first-ever book of its kind, she exposes the naked truth about the fate and happiness of our late loved ones with no-holds-barred honesty and delightfully wry humor, answering questions that range from the practical to the outrageous. In addition she shares with us her own intimate secrets, revealing with refreshing candor how her miraculous gift has affected her life, her marriage, her friendships, and her career, as well as the myriad ways she has used it to help others.

4 out of 5 stars books   August 30, 2008
Do Dead People Watch You Shower?: And Other Questions You've Been All but Dying to Ask a Medium The book was a very quick read but it was interesting and worth buying and reading.

4 out of 5 stars Even if you don't believe it   August 29, 2008
I have a hard time believing a lot of what Bertoldi writes in this book, but it didn't stop me from enjoying reading it. Her personality comes through clearly, and I honestly believe that whether she is a true medium or just a very intuitive listener, her words are comforting and helpful. I would love to have a reading from her.

The book is well-written, well organized, entertaining, and thoughtful. The "chapters" are mostly one page, each a question with an answer. It is an easy read for the doctor's office or any other situation when you only have the time and energy to read short snippets at a sitting.

5 out of 5 stars Fun Read and Gives Comfort   August 18, 2008
I would like the author and other readers to know that I, for one, enjoyed this quick, fun read. It gave me comfort about my mom who died a couple of years ago. I feel because of this book I have greater understanding and some issues with my mom are resolved.

Also just after I read the book I got an e-mail from a publisher notifying me he wants to publish my manuscript that I sent him 7 years ago! I think my mom had a hand in this as I've been thinking so much about her and she supported me so much in this old project. Ms. Bertoldi says there are no coincidences and I believe her. I feel validated.

2 out of 5 stars Cute But Unconvincing!   August 15, 2008
Let me begin by saying this was a fun read. Having said that, she didn't convince me for a minute of her legitimacy, but then again, that's not her job. She has a take me or leave me attitude and I respect that. A large portion of the book has a me, me, me mentality about it. I found myself fast fowarding through numerous pages to get to the "meat" of it all which was questions re: anything OTHER than her own life story. A large portion of her answers read like a thousand other books on LAD and mediums before her. That, or they were annoyingly vague. And SOME were so out and out over the top that I actually caught myself snorting with disbelief. When your own husband thinks you're kooky, Houston we have a problem. lol I completely buy into the God/Divine Creator theory. I'm a spiritualist. Not a Christian...nor an Agnostic, and most definitly NOT an Aethiest, but all in all, the entire book just doesn't come across as convincing. Just cliche and cartoonish. For an honest, convincing presentation of the theory of LAD I would highly recommend Michael Newton's Destiny Of Souls. THAT is a book that touched me on every level.

4 out of 5 stars a fun read!   July 31, 2008

First of all, I'm skeptical of mediums - I figure even if there are some legit ones, many of them are cold-hearted scammers. But I was in a bookstore waiting for a storm to stop so I picked up this book. It was so much fun to read I just read it all right there! I liked the Q&A format, and the upbeat, positive tone of the author. I'm still not what you'd call "a believer" but this left a much better impression on me than the work of other well-known mediums.
