Color Review July 9, 2008 Book reflected Cayce's outlooks and presentations, but with less emphasis on spiritually related attributes than I was expecting.
Vibin' Out With Edgar June 21, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Every book on subjects of Cayce's readings are worth having. This one also included some of his research material. With a limited education, but extraordinary abilities, Cayce connects the planets, time, and our bodies through gems, stones and crystals. Everything is vibration.
I had limited knowledge of crystals, colors and their healing qualities, so this book was a good place to start.
Good book. December 13, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Small paperback, but other than that it is good. Anything on Edgar Cayce is always good.
OK, for starters! October 18, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's "OK, for starters", as the title of the review suggests. It's got plenty of information, has lots of quotations from the readings, mentions the subjectivity of everyone's reaction to colours, stones, crystals, but still leaves you with some questions... You cannot easily know which one is best for you!
It should have some more information inside, I think, but that is up to the author to decide, research and write about!
The *plus*, as far as I'm concerned, is that it's pocket-sized, you can carry it around and read it whenever possible.
Better than some other Cayce books on stones... February 3, 2007 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
...though I still feel that Kaehr's book is the best one.
This work introduces much technical information regarding energy, Light, colour, gemstones, and the Cayce readings. It regurgitates a lot of the typical information about gemstone therapy and lore, with some of the very same charts that can be found in Kunz's Curious Lore of Precious Stones.
This work is a foundation to colour therapy and its application to gemstone healing, and it also is a good introduction to those who shall wish to study a more classical approach to working with stones. This guide also introduces much of the science behind energy, colour, vision, and Light, and helps prepare the reader for confronting these topics in the here-and-now.
