An Exceptionally useful guide to understanding the BibleJanuary 7, 2009 This study bible is amazing. The Bible alone is tough to understand and therefore impossible to apply to everyday life. For those new to Chritianity it is an invaluable tool in understanding God's word, his promises, and the teachings of Jesus Christ and his Apostles. I would highly recommend this book to both people new in the faith and those more mature. It contains profiles and in depth descriptions of the main characters throughout the Old and New Testaments and suggests ways in which to apply what you learn to your everyday life. It explains key concepts clearly and precisely.
Hard Back, No IndexDecember 22, 2008 Read the description carefully! I would have preferred the version with an index. Also, this is not the leatherbound edition. The study outline and footnotes are incredibly detailed and informative. Perfect for long term study! Still prefer leatherbound and indexed version!
Easy to understandDecember 2, 2008 Reading this Bible makes it so much easier to understand. The explanations are very helpful. I highly recommend this book to everyone. I bought this for myself and since then, have bought several more to give as gifts to friends.
Awesome BibleNovember 28, 2008 This is the Greatest Bible ever. It explains verses in normal understandable terms in smaller text at the bottom of each page. The Bible also has an index in the back that lets you look up anything and everything you would ever want to know about.
OutstandingNovember 10, 2008 Out standing Life app bible. There is so much information here and its helpful for new christians to get more out of their readings/devotionals. Index is great for referencing verses by topic.
