Too narrowSeptember 30, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the concept of a Bible that has a page for notes, but the NoteWorthy Bible is too narrow to write in comfortably.

Users of products from Moleskine will immediately see from where the inspiration for this New Testament came. It is a made in China Moleskine clone. Right down to the gusseted pocket at the back! Pity Zondervan did not adhere to the usual sizes of Moleskine notebooks and diaries. The cover is hard and coverd with what the blurb calls leather. It does not smell at all like leather. The font size is quite small (6 or 7 point) and the paper is more like India paper than is found in many other pocket bibles. The concept is good. The size is strange: 1cm thinner and about 2.5cm longer than the Moleskine pocket size products. Thankfully there is no red letter text. Four stars for the book itself. My comments on the TNIV translation can be found elsewhere. This kind of publication should prove quite useful to many people. For the price, it is worth purchasing.
