THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLDJanuary 6, 2009 This edition of a compact study bible is great. The Lord's words are in red and the study notes are written by someone who really understands the word. Plus at this price it's a real steal, (Opps! THOU SHALL NOT STEAL!!!!)

I really like the idea of Zondervan making this compact size bible. If you travel, the smaller size is very useful. For those who prefer a smaller size with all the goodies intact to take to a bible study, this is a good one. It has all of the information, maps, concordance, etc. that the standard size has. Some have complained about the small print size. It's a small compact bible! LOL Buy a magnifying glass or even better, buy reading glasses at any book store so you won't have to hold a magnifying glass. All in all, a great idea and good study bible. Another reviewer on this site named Watson got an incomplete bible without Genesis. For everyone's benefit, Amazon and Zondervan both guarantee their products which could've been exchanged with no hassel. Publishing errors with books do happen.
I'm very happy with this bible. Hopefully, Zondervan will publish the same compact bible in the NASB version.

The Bible is MISSING part of Genesis!!!!! I hate to say it, but that is why it is so cheap!!!! So if you are looking for a whole Bible, do NOT buy this!!!! But, from what I have read, the rest of the Bible is there..so if you are just looking at the NEW Testement...it is fine....
Study BibleNovember 2, 2008 This Bible is nicely "appointed". The leather cover is very nice. It's well done for an individual with extraordinarly good eyesight who wants it for individual study and does not intend to share the experience with anyone else. Every page has enormous amounts of information - so much that the printing is exceptionally tiny. You have to use a ruler or keep a finger on the each line as you read or it's easy to lose your place in the fine print. No way could you share this experience with another reader. If that's the kind of thing you're into, this book appears to be durable and well done for years of dependable service. We returned it because it did not meet our true needs.
